The Aftermath Conference, a first-of-its-kind national gathering for those
impacted by homicide, will take place September 11–13, 2026, in the serene coastal community of Gig Harbor, Washington.
This three-day event will bring together survivors, advocates, and professionals to create space for healing, connection, and shared understanding in the wake of unimaginable loss.
Through keynote speakers, panel discussions, and healing-focused workshops, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the long-term impacts of homicide while finding community among others who have walked a similar path. The Aftermath Conference emphasizes
compassion, empowerment, and the belief that while grief may never fully leave us, we can move forward together.
Founded by those who have personally experienced the ripple effects of homicide loss, the conference aims to transform isolation into belonging. This gathering is intended to spark national dialogue, deepen awareness, and foster meaningful change in how communities support those living in the aftermath of homicide.
